Critical incidents and life-altering trauma can affect anyone, including children. Our team responds on scene alongside first responders in the aftermath of these crises and unexpected deaths. We provide immediate support to kids experiencing trauma by offering practical tools to process these events. Each has the ability to help a child's brain and body begin healing following a challenging experience. These include: Legos, puzzles, teddy bears, fidget spinners, pop its, drawing materials, and Tetris games.
We are compiling 30 kits to be distributed when needed to children and teenagers in our communities over the next year. Compassionate support along with practical tools can help give our kids the best start to their healing journeys.
