SCAAC is partnering with Stanwood Library to provide a free, bi-monthly art program for youth ages 6-11.
This initiative addresses the lack of arts education for the 2,500 elementary students in the Stanwood Camano School District. Local professional artists lead these 2-hour workshops, which are open to all children regardless of library membership. The program aims to serve 600 youth annually, offering a welcoming space to explore diverse art materials and mediums. All supplies are provided, ensuring accessibility. Funds will cover artist fees, marketing, and administration, while the library contributes space and art supplies.
